Ran updates, lost wireless

I think drivers/firmware are the issue... maybe this helps?

From what you have posted, look at
Code:

IP4.ROUTE[1]:                          dst = 169.254.0.0

Not sure what I'm looking at. What file would I find it in and what should it be?

Try 'lsmod | grep brcm' and post the output. And you could try disconnecting from the wired network, and then connecting to the wireless network. Does network-manager show any access points available?

Shadow_7 07-08-2018 05:59 PM

Did you reboot after the update? There might have been a new kernel and the currently running one doesn't match available modules and such. You might also check dmesg and rfkill for hints. (firmware missing / wifi blocked in software)

'lsmod | grep brcm' shows no output

With or without a wired connection I can't start any wireless interface
Code:

ifconfig wlo1 up
wlan1: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device

If I try to start a virtual machine it shows this message:
"Could not start the machine windows 7 because the following physical network interfaces were not found:

wlo1 (adapter 3)

You can either change the machine's network settings or stop the machine."

I know it was set up right. It's my first linux system, but has worked flawlessly for about 8 months.
