Question RAID Recovery.... PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi, i'm a bit of a linux and i've been running a redhat 9.0 server at home with two 9.1GB disks in RAID-1 (software). One of the disks decided to die and i was wondering if there is anyway at all to retrive the data of the other disk. Please help me!!!

i think RAID-1 is just disk duplexing (exact copy of the drive) isn't it? so it would seem like you would just put the good disk in where the old disk was and see if it works...idk much bout RAID so you may need to get another 9.1 GB drive make it work.
