I'll bite---what is a "resetting wizard thing"? Are you looking for commands on how to start, stop, and configure the x-windows server?

There must be an x/org manual somewhere (try Google). Meanwhile: "man x" will give you some leads

what distro are you using? if debian-based (Ubuntu, MEPIS) try

dpgk-reconfigure xserver-xorg

sudo first (if in ubuntu)
