Can someone help me on guarding concept in quilt (patch manager).

What is the guarding concept in quilt? I don't recall ever seeing anything like that in the quilt man page.

Talking Gaurding in quilt

ok i got it

Guarding is to protect certain patches from being applied.
you can do this by adding a '#' in front of patch name in patches/series file
