My gnucash has a deposit, a withdrawal and a balance column on the right side of the account screen. So I am not sure what you are seeing or what you are expecting. When I started with gnucash, I just went all the way through the tutorial before really using it. As TB0ne said, gnucash is not Quicken. |

I do NOT use any online banking with Quicken or do plan on using it with Gnucash. I just use it to keep a good history records, usually to search for things or make a report of some expenditures. Also helps me to keep my paper ledger correct when I reconsile with the statment. *I don't think these reply windows have spell check...huh* LOL
I want to thank everyone for your input... :-) Terry |
Hi Terry I'm Eddy from Oakland, there's a LUG meeting on University in Berkeley at the Bobby G's Pizza by UC berkeley, every2nd & 4th sunday, between 12 & 3.
Maybe I'll see you there 1 day. If you should happen to go there, there's a 12yr old kid who's very well versed & very helpful. You would be surprised at how much he knows about servers & linux in general. My advice approach him. http://www.berkeleylug.com/ |
Thanks Eddy for the info on the group. I'm usually pretty busy on Sundays, but lets see what happens next year... thanks!
