Quickbooks on Fedora 14

Finally went open source at home, but must be able to load QB to work with data files already for me to load into program. Will my system at home allow me to load QB Pro Premier 2009? Or alternative apps that will let me load and work with the data?

Hi -

1. Quickbooks is not available for any platform besides MS Windows. Sorry

2. Quickbooks might work on Linux using a Windows emulator, such as Wine or Crossover Office.

But there might be glitches in presentation, or "look and feel". For example, here's an application compatibility matrix from Crossover Office's web page:

http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibi...e/?app_id=2317

3. Another approach is to run Windows inside a VM (for example, VMWare or Virtual Box), then run QB on that.

4. The final approach might be to find a product that runs under both Windows and Linux, such as GnuCash:

http://gnucash.org/

'Hope that helps!
