Question Quick Question


Hello Again .. I desperately need help guys =/

I recently got hacked and I need to review my logs. If I slave the hd to a windows computer .. will I be able to see the linux files? Also on my other hd that I mounted as /home I have very important files on there that I need to recover and slaving it to my windows box is the only thing I can think of. Please help me!

windows isn't able to read ext2 or any other common type of linux filesystem. your best bet is to use a linux rescue boot disk to remount the drive that was messed up, and copy what you need from there to an accesible drive.
