Question about sharing a printer from Linux...

Hello, I just installed my printer on my Linux system. Everything is working fine with it, and I *think* I have it shared. I selected to share the printer and allowed my internal range of IP addresses for my home network to access it.

My question is how do I get my windows computers on my network to see the printer and be able to print to it?

Is there any way to set my Linux box to a windows workgroup?

Thanks!

Norrin

Samba is what you're going to need. It's a daemon that will allow you to share files and printers between winows and Linux. Get used to it because you're going to be needing it if you want to interact between your computers. I suggest http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/samba/chapter/book/
It's a solid book and it will give you a good background of what you need to know about SAMBA
