Question about service

I have started to use Sabayon Linux a Gentoo based distro. I used Fedora 7 previously, and I used the service utility.

I.E. service network restart

Is there a similar utility for Gentoo?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Look at the files in /etc/init.d.
The syntax is /etc/init.d/<service_name> restart.
