Question about screen resolution
I have installed Debian Lenny on my desktop and the screen doesn't seem very comfortable to me so I wanted to change the screen resolution. If I go system -> preferences, there is "screen resolution" but I could not change it there since it has an empty drop-down list.
As I googled, I checked the xorg.conf and this is what saying there:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Generic Keyboard"
Driver "kbd"
Option "XkbRules" "xorg"
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
Option "XkbLayout" "it"
EndSection
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Configured Mouse"
Driver "mouse"
EndSection
Section "Device"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
Option "UseFBDev" "true"
EndSection
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Configured Monitor"
EndSection
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
Monitor "Configured Monitor"
EndSection
Does anybody of you know what I should do in this case? Thanks a lot!
