Question about MP3 support with Fedora Core

I currently have XMMS 1.2.7 running and playing mp3s. My question is does it have to be 1.2.7? I find that this version of XMMS to be rather buggy. I have used 1.2.8 for playing cd's before I got the mp3 support back, and I found that version to be far more stable.

Upgrade it then.. nothing should hold you back. Most likely its just the version the packed with the release of Fedora.

Regards.
