Question about linux installation
hey guys again,
I was wondering if their was a way to install a linux distro say puppy without burning it to a cd or floppy etc. Thanks ak47basketball |
You can try unetbootin to install from inside Windows. You will need the ISO image for the distro you want.

Yes, you mean USB?
It's really easy but what format usb fat32 or ext2/3 using syslinux or grub or extlinux? How many pups do you wanna put on usb or flashcard? I got on my 4gb usb now 5 puppies, all frugal, plus Tinycore and microcore. on ext3 kingston using grub, no partitions, just whole device(sdb1) |
Or you can use a virtual machine like qemu, virtualbox ....
