question about installing

I want to install on a computer that was built by Dell.

specs of the computer.

500mhz celeron
382mb ram
Nvidia Geforce2 MX400 vido card
Generic CD Rom
Generic 3.5 Drive

I want to install either Suse 9.1 or Red Hat 9.0, Only problem is I can not boot from my CD Drive due to my stupid BIOS. it gives me two places to boot from, the HD or the 3.5, but not the CD...

What can I do to get past this problem?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Tuul the Nuub.

There should be instructions in both distros on how to format a boot 3.5 floppy.
