So, yes. I guess I should wrap that in some test on wether ~/bin allready is in the path. But since I don't usually run an xterm from another, it's just a small annoyance.
And by the way: I haven't read the manual, so the answer is probably a well known one.

I guess when X starts its re-reading .bashrc, that's a little weird. It'll go away if you just declare it statically in /etc/profile. It doesn't matter if other users don't have ~/bin directory I guess. Odd that Debian would do that though...
