Qt5 will not download into crossover when loading Origin
Qt5 will not download into crossover when loading Origin. I am using the newest Deepin program. Setting this up for my Daughter who wants to play sims.
It would seem that you need to provide some additional info about what has occurred and led you to this point. Is this a conclusion of yours, or are you seeing a problem report about not downloading? Please share some details about your system, the Linux distribution you are using, including the version of it, and the steps which have led to this problem. The problem of not downloading, while a clear description, becomes unclear when you cite Origin, Deepin, Qt5, and Crossover. How are all of those related?
Hello,
I was trying to load ea-Origin into crossover on Deepin system 15.4 64 bit. It was loading well then I got Ian error saying Qt5 will not down load.I hope you can help. I thank you.
I think there's a lot more documentation about using Wine as opposed to Crossover for this. There are guides to use Wine under Ubuntu and Mint. Unsure how different of a distribution Deepin is. The error (without seeing the actual error) appears to be that it cannot find Qt5. Therefore I'd check the Deepin repository to determine if Qt5 is even available for Deepin.
I feel it is difficult for people to offer applicable help without knowing the exact error and any details about what led you to this point. You should cite any reference guide you've used to attempt this, and you should also explain the steps you've done, what has succeeded and is all set, and at which step you are blocked, where you finally also post the exact text of the error you're seeing.
