qemu-system-i386 shutdown due to guest OS reboot

Hi,

I'm facing an issue for "qemu-system-i386 shutdown due to guest OS reboot" with -no-shutdown option.

Thanks
kr

Could we have some more details?

Cheers,

no shutdown is supposed to be used for when you want the OS to stop but keep emulation working.

If qemu ends when you reboot a client then maybe some issue with apm or acpi???

qemu hosts NetBSD 5.2 and if 'reqoot' is issued from the guest OS qemu process also gone.

> qemu-system-i386 -no-shutdown -enable-kvm -cdrom boot.iso -boot d

What other detail information is needed?

Thanks,
kr

Still think it is an apm or acpi issue in client or how qemu is set to use either.

Some os's simply won't work correctly.
