Question Q- Reinstall Suse from orig CD or just put in & use HD from old PC as is?

I bought a new Compaq sr1130NX with Athlon 3000+ w/160GB HD and XP Home installed. I know that I will have to change the Win-modem etc - but not sure what other changes needed. I used Suse 9.1 Personal & it is current with all updates on my old PC which had 2-4GB HD's (suse only on one / Win 98 on the other) and dual booted with default to Win. It all worked fine, but did not know if I need to set the new 160GB as master or slave - or if I should just put in the HD pre-loaded with Suse & turn it on. Any instruction appreciated, and more detail is better for this newbie Paul
