Q about RH9 and Mandrake install

I use Vector on my laptop and am trying to get a distro for my desktop. Was going to download Mandrake but stupid cable company gave me wrong info so now i can't get broadband.
I have RH9 sitting around so i am going to go with that.

First, does RH9 include a partitioning tool to allow me to resize my NTFS partition like RH 8 did? If not, what is a good, free partitioning tool.

Second, I am gussing that once i get the Mandrake cd's, it will be a simple matter of deleting the RH partitions and creating new ones to install Mandrake? Or just reformatting them? I am only using RH to work a little with Linux until i get Mandrake which is supposedly easier and i can try to get my parents to use it, then get rid of Windows all together.

TIA as always,

Yup, you can partition in RH9.

And you can just reformat the drives and install Mandrake on them.

So, no problems here for you!

Hmm, aparently RH9 or at least my copy won't allow me to resize. If i do auto partition it says error can't force primary partition and if i use disk druid i still can't resize. Tried edit and everything else.

Any good free partition tools reccomended? At least to just resize win partition then use disk druid to create new ones in the free space?
