Python2 and Bash when using zsh

I am on Manjaro Linux(KDE) x64. I am trying to set up a build environment for Android/LineageOS 15.1. I have 2 issues though.

1. I prefer to use zsh as my default shell but I get an error if I try building with zsh as my shell. The same error does not occur when using bash as my shell. Is there a way to keep zsh as my primary shell but force bash to be used when building from source?
Build log: https://pastebin.com/ND5XLFMt

2. I need to python2 to be used to compile source code. I have pyenv installed, which is under active development, and it works for the most part. However I have done more research and realized python(3) had pyvenv function but this is replaced now with venv. Does venv support building with python2? The documentation is a bit confusing in this regard. Also, I assume venv is a better and more reliable method then pyenv?

1. #!/bin/bash (or wherever which bash tells you bash is located) as the first line of scripts
2. IDK. Sorry.

i do not know how you use & set up this build environment or what it even consists of (your op is assuming too much there imo), but both points 1. and 2. are definitely possible.

1. Easier said than done. I am trying to build Android/Lineage OS15.1 from source. The github repos were over 80GB worth of data. Thousands, if not millions of files.

Oh. Then just switch to bash first. Will only last for the terminal session.
Pretty sure all you have to do is type bash and enter...
