Putty connection error
Hi All,
When I am trying to connect to a remote machine through Putty (using ssh) I am getting following error: No supported authentication method available, and the terminal session getting aborted automatically. Could you please help me find a solution for this and what is the reason this problem is occurring. Thanks a lot, sir_com |
the two parties have no common way to authenticate. this would most likely sound like passwords are disabled and instead are requiring a rsa key which you haven't added to the system. can you try just sshing to the box from a linux platform and see what happens there, maybe with a -v on the command line for more details.
