Putting folders and links on the ICEWM desktop

Yes, brand new... I think I have downloaded Libra Office and Crossover, but I can't find it to open. I would like to put some folders and links on the ICEWM desktop to run them easily. I saw a style that looked like windows... Sorry - a very newby
