The recent update from Client made the task bit easier.Now they agreed to take snap shot from the current position and create new slave, rather than from last 10 minutes snapshot.So just need to freeze the Slave for at least 5-10 minutes. Before that i need to lock the DB writes.I think " FLUSH TABLES WITH READ LOCK" will help.How can i flush transaction for commit.
