Puppy Linux pfix=ram

I want to Install Puppy, but before i do, what happens to the live sessions that you install, if you use pfix=ram later? Will I be able to use my saved storage, but could i really, i ask this because it is being ignored.

You really do need to go to the Puppy forum [murga] and do some reading... But
When running puppy from cd or dvd it looks for a "save" file on boot, in order to load previous settings [X setup, audio, net connection, browser settings, etc] The same thing happens if booting from a frugal [hdd, usb] install.
A full install does Not look for "save" files, in any version that I have run.
pfix=ram, is a modifier to the boot of the cd dvd, that tells puppy Not to look for, nor use any save files. Effectively starting from scratch, generally for troubleshooting!
