puppy linux internet access
 

G'day.
I have a celeron 2GHZ with 1Meg ram. I can access the modem/router using puppy but no access 2 internet. Any ideas would be greatfull. thankyou..

It would be helpful to know what Puppy version. It sounds as though Puppy has recognized your network card.

Did you use network wizard? Make sure to use the "dhcp" button after Puppy reports a "live network".

Thankyou fair is fair.
It is puppy ver 4.1 and have used the dchp button after it has found the network card and said network was ok. but clicking the browser button has server can not be found. I notice that when scannig it loads "pppoe" where my router has been set up for "pppoa" i think. is this the prob? and if i change it will that up set my windows wireless as it is a 4 port router..
