Unhappy Puppy Linux 4.3.1 troubleshoot (Win7 Data Recovery steps)

While trying to boot Pup Linux 4.3.1 so that I can save my data on Windows 7, from what I've read and the post I am following, I am supposed to get "Select Language" option after pup431.sys file is copied to ram.. I'm shown the window to select language for a split second and end up with huge list of tech mumble and the last line reads as
---[end trace 3e06fca2eadf1db1]---
What am I supposed to do after this? Not getting a solution for this anywhere! Please help me step by step kind of thing since I am trying this as a newbie but am desperate for results.
[P.S - I wanted to post a pic of tech mumble above the end trace but apparently there are no attachments allowed here.]

to be honest with you 4.3.1 if you never done it. If you just hit enter all the way through you will get english lang aussie time a ps2 mouse and then you will get to xorgwizard select vesa and then your screen size your done.
the new puppy slacko 5.6 does that all for you.
