pstack output analysis


Hello Linux Experts,

How to use pstack to identify hanging threads.Can someone please help me with some examples.I am new to Linux

Oracle docs says:

The example shows that the process is waiting for a new connection request, which is a normal response. If the stack shows that the process is still in poll after a request is made, the process might be hung.
So, i guess you need to check the output which has "poll" on it and it might be hung as docs says.

Example below from this link:
fea9da3c poll (fac01a08, 1, 1f4)
feafa8dc poll (1, ffffffff, fac01a08, 1, 670e3849, 1f4) + 34
