PS3 YDL 6.1 Software Help

So I was a little surprised about what programs i can put on YDL...

1] For clarification purposes, I can only install programs that are in the repos?? If I want more applications then I have to expand my repos to include more than the basic three that comes with it? Otherwords, I can't just dl a program and yum install it, even it did support PPC??

2]I have seen some guides to expanding your repos.. Does anyone know of the best (most detailed) guide to doing so??

3] What are the best repos for YDL 6.1 that you have found?

4] In a perfect world, I would to put picasa, silverlight, and some kind of Flash support to watch video online... I know there is a way to watch youtube video, I tried and installed greasemonkey and tried youtotem... but it still does not work (using the the guide on youtube) i expect that if i get the right repos and install some missing codex then I could get it do work...
