Proxychains-ng
 

Interested to hear about people's experiences running proxychains-ng.

Am running TAILS 1.2

Can't start up firefox when using proxychains-ng as per below:

proxychains4 www.alexa.com
[proxychains] config file found: /usr/local/etc/proxychains.conf
[proxychains] preloading ./libproxychains4.so
proxychains can't load process....: No such file or directory


Using curl I get further but doesn't seem to start up firefox

sudo proxychains4 curl -s www.alexa.com
[sudo] password for amnesia:
[proxychains] config file found: /usr/local/etc/proxychains.conf
[proxychains] preloading /usr/local/lib/libproxychains4.so
[proxychains] DLL init: proxychains-ng 4.8.1
[proxychains] Strict chain ... 127.0.0.1:9050 ... 198.27.67.24:53050 ... www.alexa.com:80 <--socket error or timeout!

Linux/Debian noob here so its quite likely something simple
Any pointers would be appreciated.
