proxy settings

Hi,
We are using proxy server on linux (test.yan.com).
We are running oracle apps (on san.yan.com) port number is 8045.
we configured that entry at test.yan.com(http.conf)

when we gave the url http://test.yan.com/,

we got the error.

Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /OA_HTML/AppsLocalLogin.jsp.
Reason: DNS lookup failure for: san.yan.com

looks like a dns problem or a code problem. make sure your code has the full url path in the response.

thanks for reply.we not confgiured the DOMAIN NAME SERVER on linux.should i confgiure the DNS for Apache?
