proxy server


Hi,
we installed the apache server on oraapps.yan.com.
we are planning to use as a proxy server.we have 4 servers inlcuding oraapps.yan.com.Each of them has 3 or more applications.I would like to redirect them to oraapps.yan.com.is it possible.if its how to do that.

Yes, but redirect WHAT? Do you mean from a web-services standpoint, or what other protocol? You don't say anything about the other applications, or what you're trying to do.

If you mean web, then run squid on the box for your proxy server, and set the other three up to point to it.

thanks for reply.

We would like to redirect

For ex.

server2(172.19.0.21) has following applications

http://server2.yantro.com:8050
http://server2.yantro.com:8045


Apache is running on ORAAPPS(172.19.0.23).


How to run the applications from SERVER2 to ORAAPPS (via proxy server)
