provision of japanese language support for powerpc

Hi,
I am new to linux.
I want to have japanese language support on my target which is powerpc.
I am able japanese support on my host by ibus(input method with "anthy" package installed).
Now I want keyboard connected to target should switch between english and japanese language.
So when I will in english mode, english characters to be printed on console and when I am in japanese mode (by switching from same keybaord to japanese),japanese character to be printed on target.
For this what should be needed to do on target? any package to be installed or should I load any keymaps and fonts by nusing commands like loaddkeys, setfont etc.
I will very thanksfull if any one has idea..

regards,
yogesh

If you're using Debian or a Debian based distribution, then entering the command (as root or sudo) "apt-cache search japanese" will give a bundle of different packages to install, some of which may be of assistance to you.

Hi mark_alfred,
Thanks for your suggestion.
I was forgot to mention that I am using fedora12. As per my knowledge it requires rpm packages.
You have any idea of rpm package for japanese language keyboard support? If yes, please tell me steps to install rpm package on target powerpc?

regards,
yogesh
