Proper way to install sound driver A7N8X

I have the Asus A7N8X Deluxe Mobo and am using the onboard sound. I have tried to install the sound with the rpm from nvidia's website and it seems to not install "correctly". I will give me a cant find a certain driver and can't load then if you open it again it will play the test sound. Im on Redhat 9 too...any instructions are more that welcome.
