Programs running in desktop panel kde

Hi I have kde 4.2 in slackware. What I would like to do is set up my kde so everytime I run a program the program in the panel only stays on that desktop.

For example, I run firefox and firefox shows in my desktop1 panel but when I go to my virtual desktop2 I dont like firefox to show in my desktop2 panel.

'coz currently when I switch between vitual desktops the window does not show when i switch but it still shows the program in the panel.

Also whats the short cut key for switching desktops

Out off topic:

Where is the delete button in this forum I go to "edit post" but it only gives me the option to spellcheck, save changes and preview changes

I still have KDE 4.1, so maybe my info is not correct anymore.
First close your programs so that you can right click on an empty space on the task manager. Right click on the task manager and select "Task Manager Settings". The "Only Show Tasks From Current Desktop" checkbox is there.

There is no delete post button. It can make things very confusing if someone responds and then you delete your post.
