programming beginner.

Does the "g" in gvim stand for GUI?...I know ,i'll feel stupid later on...thanks....

By the way, I find it cool that you chose a complex editor like ViM despite not having a lot of programming experience.

I think it means "Graphical", "GUI", or "GTK+".
