program in linux is a must
 

i always want ed to program in linux . i am not a windows fan . i just wanted to know how to program in linux by using python. there is alot of options using this os. can someone give me a ideal in how to do this without a head ache?

It's not exhaustive but it's very complete, practical and clear.

Full Circle Magazine http://fullcirclemagazine.org/ has had an ongoing Python tutorial for more than a year. Download a copy of their magazine (free) and have a look. I believe all back editions are also available on the web site.
