proftpd virtualhost
From what I understand, the <VirtualHost> directive in the proftpd.conf file can either be a dns name, or ip, but that every <VirtualHost> tag must have a separate ip address to function correctly.
I was looking for something similar to apache's VirtualHost directive, which delivers pages for multiple domain names from the same ip address and port. Is this possible with ftp? Thanks |
did you check their docuemntation? http://www.castaglia.org/proftpd/doc...WTO-Vhost.html first line says no.

yes, i did read through the documentation, but was hoping for some sort of work around, or maybe another program that can do this.
Reading your reference a little more carefully, however, it looks like this is a limitation of the FTP protocol, and not proftpd. Thanks for the response. |
