Unhappy process 898 crash

Hi. Running RH Linux workstation, and when logging in as user, I get error message 'Application gnome panel process 898 crash'. Tellme me to go to Bugzilla.Linux link, though I cannot find anything to reference this problem. This msg keeps popping up. Do I need to install Gnome again, or, why do I get this?
Any help gratefully appreciated. Cheers.

Sounds like something in the gnome panel is causing the crash. If you type "ps -A" in the console you'll get a listing of all the processes. That is likely where you would be able to find what application it is causing the crash, as each process in linux is givin it's own unique id number.

I would recommend trying another window manager (even though rh defaults to gnome) You might want to remove any settings you have in your gnome preferences, as you might have something loading when it starts.
