probs compling gtk+-2.2.4
I'm try to compile gtk+-2.2.4 from source.
I reckoned I was only missing libatk, which I downloaded from debian (BTW I've a Knoppix Debian HD install) I brought it /usr/src and as it was a .deb, it installed nicely. I'd like to say where, but I don't know. It's a first ltime for me installing libraries and such. My only tool is pkg-config --list-all and _that_ doesn't mention it. So despite that I do a ./configure in my gtk+-2.2.4 ungzipped directory and i get <tries> Oh dear, I can't paste the console output to Mozilla. That's a pain in the asp! So I can't help you guys to help me. Newbielimbo once again! |
Yeah ya can...run the command again but in a terminal window <then> copy and paste it for us all to see.
Or, as the lovely people at GTK give you all the necessary links, why not download and compile atk from source? |
cheers Komakino.
I thinking it's a question of trying several times using various methods. |
