That depends on the broadband hardware and IP service you are using.
Examples:
Ethernet card (or some other network card) connected to cable modem.
Ethernet card connected to router (includes wireless) connected to satellite service.

With ethernet card connected to wireless router connected to antenna aimed at transmiting antenna for my local wireless internet service, I need to set up the DHCP client (IP provides DHCP server).

Cable modem and satellite connections are probably different from my setup.

Write down the information for your hardware (make and model). If you have internet through m$windows, point your browser at www.google.com/linux, then do some research relative to your kind of connection and the software setup to get it working.

Connecting in Knoppox 3.2 with ADSL on USB

Im using Knoppix 3.2 through a live CD, but cant configure the ADSL connection properly.
The ADSL is connected through a USB port.
It basically cant recognise my ADSL and I cant even open the ADSL configuration(which is OS independent) in my browser.

Again, depends on type and make of hardware used - router, modem, you didnt say. See here for help http://www.knoppix.net/forum/

DLink Router

The router Im using is DLink 502T.
It is a router, not a modem.
Unfortunately, on Knoppix 3.2, when trying to configure my ADSL/PPPoe connection, I get a list of drivers from which Ive pretty much tried all, and none of them workd.
My router is connected on a USB port, not on Ethernet, mainly becoz the router doesnt get detected on Ethernet port on Windows.
