Hello,

I am trying to run videos with kaffeine, but some of them work, and some other don't, so I installed xine-ui to see what happens

- No pb with real at the moment
- Some wmv work flawless, but with some files, I get this dialog box with xine :
Video : Windows Media Video 9 (WMV3)
- with quicktime, the video runs, but I get no sound, and this dialog box under xine :
Audio : Qualcomm Purevoice (Qclp)

here are the versions of the programs I use

kaffeine-0.6-1mdk
libxine1-1.0-8mdk
xine-ui-0.99.3-2mdk

I use the last "All" codec pack from mplayerhq.hu (20060501) (else real doesn't work)

the codec files are in /usr/lib/win32, and I have symbolic links from /usr/lib/codecs and /usr/local/codecs to this location

Any help would be appreciated

as for the wmv problem, I also tried to add a file called "wmv9vcm.dll", but it didn't change anything.

oops sorry, the message in the dialog box is something like that (my programs aren't in english . . .) :

streamname.wmv use an unsupported codec : and so on...
