Problems with wifi drivers in linux mint 16 petra
 

Hi,
I'm having problems connecting to the web with Linux Mint 16 Petra, it sometimes connects but when it does'nt I open control centre and click on drivers, I then get: broadband corporation: wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card. this device is not working, do not use this device.

I also get below: unknown: unknown. this device is not working.
linux-firmware-nonfree
version 1.14 ubuntu1
non-free firmware for linux kernal drivers.
continue using a manually installed driver
do not use the device.
I would be really grateful if someone can resolve this problem on how to install a suitable driver.
