Problems with video card on install
I'm trying to install redhat 9.0, when I try to run the install program, it identifies my old intel video card as my current one, I've since upgraded to a nvidia gforce fx which is supported by linux. I'm running windows xp and I'm trying to do a dual boot system, when I did my first install Linux wouldn't load any video, I'm assuming this is why. Does anyone know how to make my old video card go away, PS, I'm using a sony vaio so the old video card is integrated in the computer and I can't (don't know how) remove it.

Is there an option in the bios to disable the old vid? Had to do that with a computer with vid on the motherboard once, wouldn't recognize an ati card until I'd disabled it.

still not working
I've deactivated the onboard memory card on the bios and linux still doesn't recognize my video card. I've run knoppix to see if that would work and it does, redhat just isn't recognizing my card.
