Problems with package updater in fedora core 6
I've had Fedora installed for a while, but am just getting around to getting it working right. When I log in, I see that I have 207 packages to update. When I try to download and install the updates, I first have to add dependencies. So far as I can tell, that works okay, but a couple of minutes into the install, I get "Error updating software:"
('file /usr/bin/gaim conflicts between attempted installs of pidgin-2.0.2-3.fc6.1 and gaim-2.0.0-0.31.beta6.fc6', (6, '/usr/bin/gaim', 0L))
What do I need to do to fix this? It seems like it should be a problem with just one update, but none of the updates are installing (the next time I check I still have 207 updates).
Any help greatly appreciated.
