Problems with K3b and making an Audio CD.

For some reason, when i make an audio cd in K3b, around 80% half way it just destroys my computer resources and forces me to restart... anyone know why

Intersting

I'm getting the same thing with the newest release. I think my motherboard is fubar though. So I can't be sure until I replace it. I also get a hard freeze and resource lock when burning images. Very odd.

Related to this kernel bug, maybe? http://kerneltrap.org/node/view/3659

The issues described in the comments are exactly what I see. Using SuSe 9.1, stock kernel (2.6.5-7.104).

I went back to an older kernel. Apparently the version of 2.6.5 that SuSe was using has those changes in 2.6.8 backported to it. Changing to a slightly older revision made k3b work again.
