Hi!, first of all, I'M A BIG LINUX NOOB!
i installed it for a university work, and so far, a big fan!
but:
in the university i use firefox, yum update, install, pidgin, the works!
in my home (i have a ntech adsl router/modem), i only can use konqueror to surf the web. firefox just blocks, it won't even start the application, pidgin doesn't connect, and,
if i do 'yum update':
