Problems with incomplete letters

I recently had to replace my monitor, since then letter characters are incomplete on puppy, any ideas on how to rectify this would be appreciated, also attachments on emails are not displyed fully..thanks

Hi, welcome to LQ!

Check your xservers log to see whether it picked up the new monitors
features and capabilities.
