Problems With getting a USB HD working in MoviX

I'm trying to use MoviX and i've been having a few problems, first off i know it is a Slackware based distribution, and the two issues i'm having are I want to find out how to install it on a small hard drive partition so i can set it up for a dual boot setup and how to mount a NTFS formatted hard drive. This is difficult, because the website is somewhat defunct, and there seems to be little documentation on the sourceforge page. I'm also somewhat of a newbie, so i don't know what to do here... any help would be appreciatedh

Post the output of dmesg | tail (that's a pipe (shift+\) after you plug it in. It should tell you what the device location is (sd-something for USB). Then mkdir /mnt/usbhd followed by mount -t ntfs /dev/sdX (as discovered above) /mnt/usbhd. If that works we can edit fstab to make it an easier command.
