problems with flash 7 installation
 

I have followed the installation procedure for flash 7 for the mozilla browser. When I select "Help" on the mozilla menu and click "About Plug-ins," I can see that flash has been installed. However, when I go to websites that use flash, I am still having problems and see things like "for enhanced presentation install flash..." Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it shows in about:plugins it should be working. Maybe there's a problem with the site? Does it work if you go to http://ubergeek.iad.cachenetworks.co...itchlinux5.swf

I went to that site, and nothing was "missing," so I assume it is working. Must have been a problem with the site I was looking at. Thanks for the help.

No, it's not the site you were looking at, i had the same problem

Here is my post asking this about 3 months ago... somebody in here answered it for me and it works great now
