Problems with double booting
Well, to start out, I've been using ubuntu for a while, (dual booting) but my friend is the one who set it up for me, and I just got a new computer and want to dual boot with it also, but my friend moved to California and can't help me.
The new (used) computer had a blank harddisk in it, so just today I installed ubuntu on to it using a 50 GB partition on a 200 GB harddrive, and would like to know how to set up the dual boot.
I'm thinking that I should make another 50 GB partition for Windows XP but don't know how to do it.
Can you guys help me? I would appreciate it.

I'm just saying it would be easier to install win xp first because then you won't have to worry about reinstalling grub and all that fun stuff

I'm still can't get thing to dual boot(I even tried using two harddrives but it still wouldn't work) it keeps on giving me the message on start-up "Grub Error 18", I've tied just about all of the tutorials and walkthrough's but it just will not work.
I'm using just ubuntu right now because it works fine on it's own, but when I try to double boot that's when things go haywire, I even have to reformat my drive that's specified just for Win. every time(which is a pain in the but because it's a 200GB HD)
I also need to install a Wi-Fi Linksys internet card onto my comp., it works just fine for windows, but ubuntu won't let me install it on it's OS.
I could use some help!
