Angry NTFS in FC3

alright, i installed fc3 hoping that it would support my ati card...i installed the proprietary drivers and they installed properly (without any warnings)...next, i did the fglrxconfig and it all went ok
next, i rebooted by comp and tried fglrxinfo but it still gives me the Mesa3d thing in Vendor string...
so next, i tried by first going to /lib/modules/fglrx/build_modules
and i typed sh make.sh
it seemed to go fine too
next , i did a cd ..
and first, chmod +x make_install.sh
and finally, ./make_install.sh
it went fine too
so i rebooted again and tried fglrxinfo but still the same damn thing...now, i cant figure out how to got the damn drivers working and ive tried them on fc1,fc3,suse9.1....
now i really think i need to go back to using winxp

EDIT:::::::::PROBLEM SOLVED

Next Problem :
I cant mount my ntfs drives in FC3 , it says "kernel does not support fs ntfs" !?!?! can anyone help me out with that ???

ntfs on fedora core 3 issues

I think I'll try to install the ntfs drivers today, anyway this link will lead you directly to the download page for the preciousss driver (keep in mind what version of kernel do you have, my fedora Core 3 64 bit is 2.6.9-1.667).

Now it's your turn to explain me how did you make your linux box understand that you have a ATI radeon card. I have a Radeon 9500, I've installed the ATI drivers regularly, no error messages (did also the ./make and ./makesh thing) but if I run fglrxinfo it says I'm using Mesa!!!

pleeeeeaseeee!
